Krista started working for McDonald's in 2012 in Holdrege, Nebraska as a crew member and was later promoted to shift manager. When McDonald's rolled out Department Leadership positions, she was promoted to People Leader. In 2015, after the birth of her 4th child she took some time off and later came back in 2017 as a shift leader. She was promoted through the three Department Leader positions to Department Leader 3. She was then offered the Restaurant Leader position at the Hastings 2 location and later transferred to the Kearney 2 location in 2022 as their Restaurant Leader. In 2023, she transfered back to her initial restaurant in Holdrege. In 2025, she worked for a short time at the Kearney 1 location before going back to Holdrege again.
Krista and her fiancé, Kenneth have five kids, Kearstan, Aaron, Jasmine, Aria and Wyatt. She loves to cook and bake when she has time, and as a family they love to go camping, swimming, and playing games.
Her favorite McDonald's meal is the currently unavailable Steak, Egg and Cheese Bagel.
