Amanda was born in Omaha, NE in 1985 and graduated from Omaha Bryan High school in 2003. She began her McDonald’s career in 2001 working at the restaurant in Bellevue, NE and moved to Grand Island, NE after graduating from high school. She worked at McDonald’s in Wal-Mart upon arriving in Grand Island and worked her way up to Floor Supervisor. For the next 15 years, Amanda work at both Grand Island McDonald's locations and held multiple positions including Kitchen Manager, Guest Service Manager and People Manager.
In June 2019, the Director of Operations, Steve Wenzl, and Operations Supervisor, Bette Wiehn, drove up to Amanda’s driveway and convinced her she was the perfect person to lead the Grand Island 1 (2nd Street) restaurant where she is currently the Restaurant Leader.
Amanda has 4 unique boys, Scott, Lucas, Justin, and Matthew. Amanda likes vintage cars, music, and spending time with her friends and family.
Her favorite McDonald’s meal is a breakfast burrito with hot sauce and a vanilla iced coffee.
