Colleen was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Lexington, Nebraska when she was 17 years old, and graduated from Lexington Sr High School in 2001.
In 2007 Colleen worked at our Hastings 1 location for a few months before transferring to our Hastings 2 location. In March of 2020 she moved to Grand Island and worked at our Grand Island 1 location on 2nd street. She later moved back to Hastings and transferred back to Hastings 2. In June of 2021 she was promoted to a shift leader and then People Department Leader in October. A year later, in October of 2022, Colleen was promoted to Restaurant Leader of our Hastings 2 location. Colleen enjoys the people she works with and the friendships she has gained over the past 2 years of working at McDonald's.
Outside of McDonald's, Colleen loves to go swimming and camping or reading books and playing games on her phone. She has three kids, ages 18, 16 and 14. All three of them work with Colleen at the H2 locations - her oldest is a Department Leader, her daughter is a Shift Leader, and her youngest is a Crew Member. She also has a cat named Kitty Kitty, and her daughter has two cats named Buddy and Puss (but Colleen calls her “Little Girl”).
Colleen's favorite McDonald's menu item is a Double Cheeseburger, no pickle, extra mustard and onion, and add mayo!
