Sarah, born in South Dakota, grew up in Grove, Oklahoma and Valentine, Nebraska, before moving to Kearney, Nebraska. She began working at McDonald's in 2019 as a Crew Member at our Kearney 2 location, where she was later promoted to shift manager. She left McDonald's in 2021, but returned back in 2022 to our Kearney 3 location, by the end of 2023, Sarah transferred back to our Kearney 2 location where she was developed and promoted to Restaurant Leader in 2025.
What Sarah loves most about working for McDonald's is the people. She loves developing everyone around her and seeing her team be successful in each role they do. She also loves her guests and hopes to make everyone who walks through the door a returning guest.
Sarah likes to immerse herself in all things work, but to balance this out she loves spending family time with Drew, together since 2013, and her son Emmett, born in 2023. They often road trip to Colorado to see family, they love to go boating and fishing. Their favorite way to spend time together is watching movies and staying in for the weekend. When Sarah isn't working, she likes to be a homebody.
Sarah's favorite McDonald's menu item is the McNuggets with our Limited Time Buffalo Ranch sauce and French Fries.
